Woody's Wings N Things is a full-service restaurant tucked into a modest strip mall on Lowell Boulevard in Westminster, serving a diverse menu that spans Chinese, Laotian, Vietnamese, and broader Southeast Asian flavors. Its atmosphere leans toward the nostalgic, with a décor that some might call “dated” but in a way that recalls an old-school family spot where the focus lands squarely on the food rather than fancy surroundings.

The place often draws a mix of locals looking for authentic regional dishes that veer away from the more familiar Chinese-American options. Families and groups who appreciate bold, genuine Southeast Asian cuisine find it a comfortable, no-frills spot to dig into hearty plates. The menu itself is refreshingly eclectic — you’ll find everything from sizzling hot wings spiced in various regional styles to classic dishes like lemongrass wings and pad see ew, alongside less common items such as Lao style papaya salad, Cambodian lemongrass beef skewers, and crispy 3 layer pork belly. The lunch specials offer a straightforward, affordable way to sample some of the Chinese-American staples, each serving accompanied by a crispy egg roll.

Service at Woody's tends to be functional rather than overtly attentive, so it’s the kind of place where you might need to catch the server’s eye when you’re ready for the next course. Despite this, the kitchen consistently delivers flavors that locals rave about — from a standout shrimp and lobster sauce that’s said to be among the better versions in the area to the well-seasoned noodles in dishes like Pad Kee Mao.

The vibe is informal and familiar, with a parking lot often busy during peak meal times, hinting at its steady neighborhood following. Expect a mix of subtle Southeast Asian influences alongside the comforts of homey, familiar dishes. It’s not a polished dining room meant for a special occasion, but rather a dependable spot to enjoy complex, authentic flavors in a relaxed setting.

Who should come here? Those craving Southeast Asian authenticity beyond typical takeout, adventurous eaters eager to explore less common regional dishes, and locals wanting a casual gathering spot with solid food portions. It’s equally a lunch destination for folks working or running errands nearby, and a dinner choice for those after a no-nonsense bowl of comforting noodles or a plate of fiery wings.

Best time to visit: Lunchtime specials offer good value, while evenings tend to fill up with groups seeking the full dinner menu’s variety. Because the space is modest and service is paced, come with an appetite and a laidback attitude.

Atmosphere. Dated. Nice dated appearance I'd say. Looks back in time. Service, they cover the basic needs . Just gotta wave them down. I went 3 times and got their shrimp and lobster sauce lunch to start. Very very good Chinese they have. The lobster sauce I could tell is one of the best in this area if not the best. It was the right color and had everything in it. The rice was light yellow and usually in the Chinese world, the browner the fried rice the better but not here. This fried rice measures up in flavor. I got Cambodian spicy soup 2nd which I liked. It was different but it had a more sour taste. Out of the 3 things I got it was my least favorite but still good if you never tried it and gotta get it out of your system. Last but not least. Duck egg noodle soup. Besides when I had Nepalese noodles, this is one of the best Asian soups I've ever had. Many of them are good but this here is something you don't usually find and it had a wonderful flavor as well as the egg noodles.

This place is hilariously awesome! The name and décor give off an old-school saloon vibe, but in reality, it’s a family-owned Southeast Asian restaurant serving some of the most authentic and unique dishes in Denver. Every bite is a yummy surprise—you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Speaking of the menu, it’s hilariously chaotic in the best way. It’s filled with pictures of an almost absurd variety of dishes, from wings and burgers (many aggressively crossed out with a big “NO”) to whole fried fish and hot pot. There are no prices or explanations, but you won’t find a selection like this anywhere else. The fried fish was a standout, and the beef waterfall salad was fantastic—unfortunately I forgot to snap a photo. The flavors for the prices are unbeatable. Definitely give this place a try!

As many of America’s greatest eateries are, Woody’s Wings N Things is situated in a questionable looking strip mall, nestled between a convenience store and a takeout pizza joint. I was excited to go to Woody’s for the first time, and when my buddy and I pulled up to find a jam-packed parking lot, my anticipation only grew. We walked in, and seemingly every patron looked up and stared at us as if thinking “dangit, more people found out about our secret.” Luckily, we were seated immediately and presented with massive, phone book sized menus with helpful pictures of all the dishes. Woody’s is billed as a Chinese restaurant, but the flags on the sign out front are a clue that the menu features fare from all over Southeast Asia. “Wings and Things” is an apt label for this place because they have Wings… and a whole lot of other Things. We were nearly through our first beers by the time we had fully inspected the menu. I knew this was going to be a special experience the moment the lemongrass wings hit the table. Drowning in a delicious curry sauce, the wings were still delightfully crunchy (how do they do that?!). Everything we ordered— Pad Thai, whole fried fish, roast pork and bok choy, hot and sour soup— was wonderful. The Pad Thai was the best I’ve had in Denver. You must get the whole fish; Pro Tip from the waiter: if you can’t decide between the sauces, just get them all on the side. Seemingly, even the Tsingtao tastes better here. Woody’s is one of the best restaurants in the Denver Metro. Grab some friends, and go eat there.

This is a very authentic southeast Asian restaurant. You can grab your average Chinese American food here and be safe or you can experience real food from other countries. This is where my wife, who is from Thailand, likes to go eat so she can get the ‘real’ deal. And if she asks for HOT and I mean HOTTT and spicy she can get it here. Nice people and good prices.

The food was amazing. I got their Pad Kee Mao and the noodles were seasoned to perfection, the veggies were crispy snd the seafood was tender. Highly recommend this place.

Woody’s Wings and Things is a great example of why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. The outside and inside aren’t exactly fancy, but the food and service are absolutely fantastic! They have a huge menu, and everything is cooked to order. I had the Pad Thai, and it was delicious. It was well-seasoned and a generous serving. My wife had the wings, and they were crispy and well-cooked. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you’re in the area, you should definitely stop by and try Woody’s.
